Christian Worship
Worship is part and parcel of being a Christian.  In the worship service we come together as the body of Christ, as brothers and sisters, to hear the words of grace and pardon that our Lord Jesus proclaims to us in His Holy Word.  We also come together to receive His forgiveness through the sacrament of the Altar and Confession and Absolution.

Worship is not only about what we offer God.  It is first and foremost the response of a faith filled heart overflowing with thanksgiving and praise for having received the gift of a Savior, God's only Son.  We join our songs of praise to that which the angelic army sang to the shepherds outside Bethlehem so long ago.  True Christian worship forever finds its beginning and end in the God who gives.  Our praise is our thanks for the free gift of forgiveness in Jesus Christ.

All are welcome to join us on Sunday morning as we hear God's Word and receive the blessings He wishes to bestow upon us.

Bible Study
At Zion, we also believe in studying God's Word to grow in our faith and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  God's Word alone is the only source of all Christian doctrine and practice.  Through His Word He speaks to His people and delivers the gifts of eternal life and salvation through the working of His Holy Spirit and at the same time our faith is strengthened by this same Word.
In order to aid the saints of Zion in the study of God's Word, we offer Sunday morning Bible Study throughout the year.

5th through 8th Grade Confirmation
Students at Zion are given the privilege to attend confirmation classes for four years before making their public confession of faith on Confirmation Day.  The purpose of confirmation is to instruct children who are baptized into the Christian faith in the Holy Scriptures and doctrines of the Christian Church.  Confirmation helps them gain a better understanding of the gifts of grace their Heavenly Father has showered on them in Holy Baptism.  Students do not need to be members to attend confirmation classes.

Sunday School

Christian education is one of the foundation stones of the Christian faith.  Our Lord has commanded that His church teach about His saving work by teaching the Word of God.

Children ages 3 to 18 are invited to attend Zion Sunday School beginning at 10:15 a.m. every Sunday throughout the year.

All lessons are Christ-centered and grounded in well-known stories of the Bible through which our children come to know about the forgiveness, life and salvation that our Lord Jesus Christ gives to us by faith in Him.

Vacation Bible School
In addition to Sunday School, Zion also holds an annual Vacation Bible School during the month of June
for all children, 4 years-old through sixth grade who wish to attend.

Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF)
LYF is Zion's youth group for high school students.

Pioneer Youth
Pioneer Youth is intended for the younger elementary students in grades 1 through 5.

There is no cost or registration necessary for any of these opportunities to study God's Word.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact the church office.
